Zululand
In the 1820's this was the royal hunting ground of the famous Zulu King, Shaka. Then came other great hunters and due to the uncontrolled slaughter of the wildlife in an attempt to eradicate the Tsetse fly, some of the world's oldest game reserves were proclaimed. This served as a sanctuary to breed up the animal populations in the region and saved the White Rhino from extinction. World record Nyala, Red Duiker and Suni have been taken from our concessions. While in Zululand, we operate from our base camp, known as "OPPIE KOPPIE" situated on the outskirts of Pongola town. These secluded chalets with en-suite bathrooms and Jacuzzil provide you with all the home comforts you require.
