Area 1: Mountain Grassland

Bowers Hope Lodge is set in the Winterberg Mountains. This 25 000 acres ranch gives you the feeling of being in Montana; this is - Big Sky Country. The peace and tranquillity, that these mountains offer is just what you need to stress out and relax. Besides plainsgame hunting, we also offer specialized hound hunts for Caracal, upland bird shooting and trout fishing.
Once your soul has been rejuvenated in the mountains, we move down to the coast to enjoy a little sunshine and take in some of the country's highlights. It's time to shop and go places. Based at the Puti River Lodge you will be able to do some day excursions to a variety of destinations, ranging from shopping opportunities to pedicures and manicures.

Area 2: Valley Bushveld

At Zingela Lodge situated between the historic towns of Bedford and Grahamstown you will experience the uniqueness of hunting in valley bushveld. This is the largest privately owned hunting area (67,000 acres) in the country.
Accommodation is luxurious with thatched roofs, en-suite bathrooms and fireplaces in each bedroom. There is an outdoor boma area to enjoy an evening meal while recapturing the memories of an exciting days hunting around the campfire.

This malaria free area has plenty to offer. Fast becoming the playground of the rich and famous with it's beautiful golfing estates including Fancourt where the 2003 Presidents Cup was held. Recently, Tiger Woods got engaged at Shamwari Private Game Reserve, which offers you the opportunity to see the Big 5 and more. Addo Elephant National Park will soon offer the Big 7, the other two being Whale watching and Great White Sharks.
