Deep Sea Fishing

Most of our ski-boats range from 19.6– 28 foot (6 - 8.5m) in length. The most popular boats the Yeld and Nova Cats, which are known for their excellent stability. This may not be as large as some of the boats, the reason for this being that we launch from the beach and have to go through the surf. This takes experience and the captain of the boat must be in possession of a valid skippers license.

Indian Ocean (Warm water fishing)
In October to May we launch at 05h30 and return at 14h00 and from June to September we launch at 06h30, returning at 14h00. These times depend on the weather. If the conditions are good we will stay longer depending on the client's wishes. Bill, game and shark fishing charters costs include charter of the boat, rods, equipment and crew. Broadbill Swordfish fishing takes place at night and you will spend the whole night out at sea.

Atlantic Ocean (Cold water)
Ski-boat fishing is very popular down in the cold waters off the Cape Peninsula. Most of the charters head for the Cape Point fishing grounds. The Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet at this point and can cause quite turbulent water conditions.
The main fish targeted in this area are Snoek (very popular eating fish in the Cape) and various species of Tuna. The main Tuna species targeted are Yellowfin and Longfin, which average more than 50Kgs (130 lbs).
The days fishing will include all tackle, fuel bait, food and refreshments. Charter prices and locations are available on request.
